Sympathy Card

A beautiful card for a sad occasion! Here is a sympathy card that I made for a dear friend who lost a son recently, something that should never happen to anyone.

The card was cased from Stampin' Up! Using the Kinda Eclectic stamp set, it's a lovely set and well worth buying to use in your card making, scrapbooking and project life cards.

Swaps

Hi
This week I received the swaps for the challenge run by Sue MacDonald over on ILWS. They are lovely cards, And my thanks go to the swappers : Sue MacDonald, Morgan Willramo, Stampin Mermaid, Irene Randall, Michelle Philips and one unknown.

Here is the card I made, followed by the swaps...

I hope you like them.

Stampin Up product retirement

hi all

Today sees the launch of Stampin' Up! annual product reirement list, which is always greeted with mixed emotions; great sadness at the loss of some favourite items tempered by excitement at the prospect of some lovely new gorgeousness in the new catalogue to be launched on 2nd June!

Of course the old 2013-2015 In-Colors are retiring, I have no doubt they will be popular and will sell out fast. Everything on the list is only while stocks last and items are up to 50% off making them really  good value.

Take a look at the list and order either using my SHOP button on the right or contact me to place your order.

Click the link below for the pdf list. Happy Shopping!

Makes for this past week

I have been very busy this week and am actually a week behind on our scrapbook challenge too, so I must do some catching up.

Here is this weeks' scrapbook challenge page; the sketch chosen by me from the Basic Grey blog and my interpretation using mainly Stampin' Up! products - paper, cardstock, dies, masks, ink, etc.  I added the title from my "SLICE" machine with some gorgeous gold gilt rubbed over it for a bit of bling.

This week was my 39th wedding anniversary, wow! Looking forward to some rubies for the 40th lol. Here is the card I made for hubby using an old Hunkydory set I had in my stash...

As it happens, I had to get some cards finished for a swap using anything from the annual catalogue.  I decided to challenge myself and use a set of stamps I had bought back when the catalogue first came out, but I really haven't used them much at all.  So here are my swap cards, the design is something I found on Pinterest and thought interesting, courtesy of Holly Endress...

Weekly Scrapbook Challenge

Hi

For this weeks' Butterfly Belles scrapbook challenge I used photos that I took on Easter Sunday when my gorgeous family came over for lunch. I am so blessed to have 3 gorgeous sons, their beautiful wives and 6 fabulous grand-children, so far! Family mean so much to me and I love them all.  So, this is my page capturing the children doing what they do best, unfortunately two of the boys managed to avoid having their photo taken lol. I will have to try harder next time! Below it is the sketch that was chosen by Michelle.

Seasonal Catalogue

Hi,
Yes, it's sad but true - Sale-a-bration is finished for another year; I do hope you managed to earn some lovely goodies for free during this time.

All is not lost though, we have some lovely yumminess available in the seasonal Spring/Summer catalogue and, if you haven't looked yet I urge you to do so - see the link on the right. If you're like me you just need it all!

And, of course, don't forget the Annual Catalogue - link on the right, for all of Stampin' Up!s regular items like cardstock, inks, adhesives and lovely stamp sets.

You can shop with me using my shop button, on the right, and have your goodies delivered direct to you.

I thought I would share with you some gorgeous swaps I received that are based on the Seasonal Catalogue, my thanks to all the swappers. Look out for this months swaps, which have to be based on  stamps, etc from the Annual Catalogue.

Weekly Scrapbook Challenge

Hi all

This is scrapbook challenge week 4 and the sketch was chosen by Sue McDonald. I chose to scrap my grand-daughter, Poppy, because she is just so very cute. What other colour could I choose for the layout but Stampin Up's Real Red, it's a beautiful colour for a beautiful baby.  I hope you like it and I look forward to your comments.

Why not pop on over to Michelle's blog, Sue's blog or Irene's blog to take a look at their take on Sue's sketch.

Have fun!
